Your Richer Experience of God’s Will … Begins In Guided Meditation

Stop missing out on personal transformations because you don’t know how to meditate biblically! Jesus said to pray: “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). But you’ll never fully experience God’s will on earth until you meditate like the heroes in the Bible. Need an experienced Christian Meditator to guide you? You’re at the right place.

Transformational vs. Informational

Teaching informs. Meditation transforms. You need both. My guided meditations do both. Below are the three categories I use to group my guided meditations. Go ahead and explore!

“Meditation is the rarely explored foundation of Christian Spirituality, the key to living the Christian Life!”

~ Paul Moses

 Behold God

These meditations lead you into the presence of Him “toward whom we direct our attention” (Hebrews 4:13). That way, you, like Jesus, can truly say to your God, “Fulness of joy is in Your presence” (Psalm 16:11).

Be Still

There is so much stress in modern life that, honestly, living the Christian Life isn’t so easy (1 Peter 5:7). These meditations bring you into the stillness of God to relax your body, ease your mind, and calm your spirit.

Be Transformed

Growth, for sure, involves gaining biblical knowledge. “You desire truth in the inner being” (Psalm 51:6). But for abundant transformations, you need God’s word to be implanted in your soul (James 1:21).

Meditation has always played a huge part in my Christian walk since my conversion at age nineteen. I have four decades of meditative experience that I pour into each of my guided meditations for you. I cannot imagine trying to relate to the Creator and His Son without this spiritual practice of meditation.

I Personally Have Used Meditation for …

Soul Growth

Most of what we call “spiritual growth” is actually soul growth. (Yes, soul and spirit are two different aspects of your “inner human.”) You receive God’s word implanted in your soul to renew your mind, that is, to change your beliefs and thoughts to match God’s thinking (Isaiah 55:8-11; James 1:19; Romans 12:2). I guide you into a deep meditative state of mind so you can open the windows of your awareness and receive God’s word implanted.

Biological Health

Deep meditation has been shown by medical science to facilitate health and healing in your body. High blood pressure typically drops down toward normal. The immune system is boosted. The digestive system improves its absorption of nutrients. The cells increase their energy production. And your three brains (head, heart and gut) work better with each other. Yes, meditation does all this (Proverbs 16:24).

Spiritual Strength

Your spirit is the energy of life you have from God’s Spirit (Psalm 104:29–30). You move out into the world and connect with others by means of your spirit (Haggai 1:14). Keeping your spirit strong and focused on God is a vital part of each meditation experience I lead you through (Ephesians 3:16; 4:23).

Improved Mood

I was always a moody person. Easily depressed. Worried a lot. Quick to anger. When I began at age 19 to meditate consistently my moods were the first thing that changed. I still felt depressed, anxious, and angry. But the volume had been turned down. For the first time I could function in life. Regular meditation manages moods: “For the one whose internally framed intention is leaning on You for support, You will guard him with wholeness, health and well-being because he imaginatively believes in You with the full feeling of assurance” (Isaiah 26:3).

Deeper Learning

God’s word is huge and complex. But there are certain themes that you can master, and then the rest is easier to grasp. I purposely build these themes into my guided meditations so knowing God’s truth comes easier to you as you journey through my meditations. With consistency you’ll find Psalm 16:7 coming true in you: “my inner parts instruct and admonish me in the night.”

My Approach & Philosophy

Philosophy means to love wisdom. And the biblical idea of wisdom involves putting God’s word into action. Guided meditation takes God’s word into the inner world of your soul and spirit, so you put it into action at first on the inside. In time, you’ll begin to naturally take action on His word in the outer world of your daily life.

It’s as beautiful as it is mysterious how what you meditate on this week becomes your spontaneous pattern of behavior a few days or a few weeks later … without consciously trying to change. This is why I love the wisdom of biblical meditation!

I craft each of my guided meditations to first relax your spirit, soul, and body. Then I lead you on an inner journey to learn some facet of God’s truth and accept it as valid for your daily walk with Him. Third, you go about your everyday living and watch as the new you takes action in ways that please both God and you (Philippians 2:13)!
